Washington Shoe Company was founded in Seattle in 1891 to produce rugged
outdoor boots designed to meet the harsh conditions of the Alaska Gold
Rush. Today, Washington Shoe Company is committed to providing retail
distributors with the same high quality, rugged work footwear. The Western
Chief Brand is designed to meet and exceed the demands of today's work
place while providing comfort and durability, at a reasonable cost.
We are experiencing rapid growth due to the overwhelming
response of our retailer dealers. Our program of providing in stock,
quality workshoes, at reasonable prices is working. As a result we are
happy to announce our move in March 98 to a new larger, state of the
art warehouse. Here we plan to continue expanding our product line and
to continue improving our level of service to you. All phone and fax
