1. What are some of your hobbies or interests?
I feel like my interests are constantly changing and growing, but there are several that are constant. Photography is one of my hobbies (now professional) that started because of my love of nature, hiking and backpacking. When I was seeing these beautiful places, like mountain tops or alpine lakes, I wanted to capture those moments. Since then, I've expanded into brand and lifestyle photography while still incorporating the outdoor and nature element. Another interest of mine is animals, specifically my giant goofball of a dog, Wayland. We love going out on the trail together! A few more of my interests are art, design, and writing.
2. Where is your favorite place to explore/travel?
This is a tough one! The Pacific Northwest holds a special place in my heart and there is never a shortage of adventures here, but I also love exploring new places. I recently went on a two week road trip visiting some of the National and State Parks in Oregon, California, Nevada and Utah. The otherworldly landscape of Utah is pretty spectacular and I definitely want to go back.
3. What do you like about the Soothe slipper?
Comfort, simplicity, and durability. These are the type of slippers you can easily wear after a long trek to lounge around the camp fire. These were my go-to's for comfort on my road trip!
4. Why are Staheekum slippers a great choice after an outdoor activity?
I always make sure to have a pair of my Staheekum slippers in the car so that I can change into them after an outdoor adventure. Comfortable and cozy... you can't go wrong!
5. Do you have any tips for first time explorers?
Research where you're going, don't be afraid to adventure solo, and always Leave No Trace.
