Earth Month, Get Involved

Everyday is tree day at Staheekum! If you haven’t noticed, we work with Trees for the Future to plant a tree for every item sold on our website. We’ve been partnering with them since 2018. Despite caring for the environment everyday, April is a good month to show appreciation.

National Parks Week starts April 16, 2022. To kick off the week, national parks are free on the 16^th!

National Arbor Day is celebrating it’s 150^th year on April 29, 2022. It is a day to plant a tree and celebrate the beauty of nature.

At the very least, get cozy in a pair of Staheekum slippers, pause, and reflect on mother earth. You can do your part by creating a new, earth-friendly habit in your life. Maybe plant a tree, pick up litter, or donate to one of many great causes that support the environment.
